Kaleidoscope website redesign case study
CASE STUDY Web Design & UX

Redesigning Kaleidoscope into a calm, trustworthy front door for mental healthcare.

A full website redesign for a Delhi-based psychology and wellness clinic, rebuilding navigation, visual identity, and conversion flow around one idea: therapy should feel accessible, not clinical.

Client: Kaleidoscope (A unit of Dr Bakshi's Healthcare)
Industry: Mental Health & Wellness / Psychological Counselling
Objective: Increase brand awareness and educate audiences about mental health. Also, to improve organic engagement and establish Kaleidoscope as a trusted mental healthcare provider through consistent social media marketing.

Overview

Kaleidoscope is a New Delhi based mental health and wellness organization offering psychological counselling, therapy, and holistic wellbeing services for individuals and families. With over 10,000 patients served and 100+ dedicated wellness programs spanning every life stage from childhood to senior care, Kaleidoscope needed a digital presence that could match the depth of its clinical offering while making that first step toward help feel simple, safe, and human.

The Gooseberry Solutions partnered with Kaleidoscope to design and develop a website that translates a sensitive, high-stakes service into an approachable, trustworthy, and conversion-focused digital experience.

The Challenge

Mental health platforms carry a unique design burden: the audience is often anxious, overwhelmed, or hesitant to seek help in the first place. The website had to work harder than a typical healthcare site.
Key challenges we set out to solve

Breadth without overwhelm

Kaleidoscope's services span 7+ life stages, 9+ concern categories, and multiple therapy formats (individual, couples, family). Structuring this without burying the user in menus was critical.

Trust at first glance

Visitors needed to feel emotionally safe within seconds of landing on the site, not navigate a clinical, corporate-feeling interface.

Low-friction conversion

For someone in distress, a complicated booking process is a dropout point. The path from "I need help" to "I've booked a consultation" had to be short.

SEO for intent-driven search

People search very specifically ("psychologist in Delhi," "ADHD therapy," "couple counselling near me"), so the site needed a content architecture built to rank and convert on those long-tail, high-intent terms.

Our Approach

UX & Conversion Flow

We designed the user journey around one core principle: reducing decision fatigue and increasing reassurance.

  • A persistent, low-commitment call to action, "Book 10 Mins Free Consultation", appears at every key decision point.
  • The life-stage navigation model organises services by life stage rather than clinical category.
  • A secondary "What We Cover" structure helps users navigate directly towards specific services.
  • Click-to-call and WhatsApp integrations are placed directly in the header.

Visual Design & Branding

  • A warm, calming visual language, soft illustration, generous white space, and a restrained colour palette were used throughout.
  • Trust indicators are surfaced immediately through homepage stat callouts rather than buried in copy.
  • Multi-platform review aggregation is displayed with visual star ratings to build social proof.

Technical Build

  • Built as a fast, lightweight, mobile-first site to ensure smooth access for users browsing on mobile.
  • Structured, reusable page templates allow condition and life-stage pages to scale.
  • Integrated appointment booking with tracked lead capture and downloadable e-brochures.

SEO & Content Structure

  • Dedicated individually optimised landing pages for each condition and common category.
  • A structured blog and insights section supports long-term organic growth and topical authority.
  • Clean metadata, canonical URLs, and semantic page hierarchy across service and therapy pages.
